Pittsburgh Playhouse
After receiving my high school diploma I completed three years of post-secondary education at Point Park University. While attending this university, I had the privilege to work at the Pittsburgh Playhouse as a lighting technician. While serving as a technician, I was enrolled in the student work program which allowed me to serve as spotlight operator, light board operator, assistant lighting designer, assistant head electrician, and lighting designer.
Richland Performing Arts Center
When attending Richland Middle School, our theatrical department offered students to be involved in the "Backstage Badgers" which was the theaters technical crew. Throughout my middle and high school years I had the opportunity to work in all theatrical departments until finding my love in lighting. While attending Richland High School, I had the opportunity to work with many touring shows including the Tamburitzans, a dance group based out of Duquesne University. This is truly the moment that I realized that I wanted to pursue a career in the lighting industry.
